I never thought I would be
the only one who could see
is this the end
the echoes calling my name
they show me the way
that it's just all
in my head
I remember you
your face not a mask
a positive mind
your perfect smile
trying not to forget
trying to walk straight
you said it would last
but this was the end
and I fade as the time will pass
to what's called an end
all that is left they call a mess
to what's called an end
I stuck to you all the time
the diamond that was mine
where are you now
the shadows hiding your face
I'm looking for the place
it tells me
it's all a lie
I am quitting this
and I am leaving here
please show the world
you see
and I show you respect
tell you how I feel
all my feelings fade to black
I show you what is real
all my feelings
fade to black
I show you what is real
and I fade as
the time will pass
to what's called an end
and I can see the otherside
where I used to waste my life
too much time I've spend in sins
happy to be now where I am
I never thought I would be
the only one who could see
is this the end
the echoes calling my name
they show me the way
that it's just all
in my head
I stuck to you all the time
the diamond that was mine
where are you now
the shadows hiding your face
I'm looking for the place
it tells me
it's all a lie
wordless I stand on the edge and I say
there is no hope on my way
this is the price I pay
countless days that my mind won't obey
I'm looking forward to this
one step to set me free
A new compilation series featuring cat-loving metal bands from every state donating their tracks for local animal welfare organizations. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 12, 2018
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
